Dana's Tune Lesson
Here's a lesson on how to play the song "Dana's Tune" which I wrote for my friend Dana. I have the great honor of performing her wedding in July. It will be my first wedding as a pastor, and I'm pretty excited about it. She's the closest thing to having a sister as I have ever had; and so after she asked me to perform her wedding, I was feeling so happy that I decided to dedicate this tune I wrote to her. I wrote it so it could be played as a duet with two mandolins or a mandolin and a violin. I hope you enjoy playing it too, as well as watching the two of us play it at the end of the lesson.
Blues Mandolin Lesson
In this lesson, I teach some blues techniques for playing the mandolin in "Split Dead Man's" Tuning.
